The historical city centre of Vienna became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001 and could join the other 700 cultural and natural sights (e.g. the Taj Mahal, the great Wall of China or the city centre of Rome). The Palace and Gardens of Schönbrunn became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The imperial city centre disposes of numerous architecturally and culturally significant buildings such as the Gothic, monumental St. Stephen.s Cathedral or the Baroque Hofburg. The buildings and parks along the Ringstrasse, which were built in the 19th-20th Century, also belong to the cityscape (e.g. the Opera House). | Contact us
