There are a number of trains from Salzburg to Kitzbühel during a day. The journey (if you use direct trains) takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes. The journey costs usually about 25 EUROS for one way, but there are also special offers during the skiing season.
There are the so-called scheduled buses that link Salzburg with Kitzbühel (operated by the ÖBB). The journey takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes.

There are several taxi companies in Salzburg that arrange transfers to Kitzbühel. Using a taxi is popular among tourists, but it is more expensive than a train or a bus ride. For a one way transfer, you have to pay between 120 and 150 EUROs (holiday luggage free of charge).
