Getting to the City Center by Taxi

Getting to Innsbruck by Train
There are direct trains to Innsbruck from München, Rome, Zürich and from Vienna. All of the trains arrive at the Innsbruck main railway station called Hauptbahnhof. The Austrian railway system is swift and reliable, the journey will be very comfortable and you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Alps. The Austrian Railway (ÖBB) has a new, modern train, called Railjet. On the Railjet, there are different classes like First, Economy and Premium, which is a separate wagon. On the First and Premium wagons, you can find cosy reclining chairs and daily newspapers. The trains also have a special wagon for children, where they can watch children movies.

By Bus to Innsbruck
You can travel to Innsbruck from all of the Austrian cities with the Federal Railway Buses or the Postal Buses. The buses are very comfortable and they usually drive through some of the smaller villages as well. In Innsbruck, you can find the Bus Station directly next to the Railway Station. Bus tickets are available at the central station and in travel agencies.
